Administration Assistant - NSW Government
  • 2 positions available
  • Coffs Harbour location
  • $45ph + super
  • Immediate start - Initial contract through to 30th June 2024 with likely extension
  • Full time, Monday to Friday
  • Working with Children Check required
This large Government organisation within the higher education sector are seeking two experienced administration professionals. This is a very rewarding role in a friendly and supportive working environment with the possibilty for ongoing work and future Government opportunities.

Day to day responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Provide efficient and effective administrative support services to support the management of daily teaching and learning operations and the student journey as well as the smooth running of activities
  • Assisting with the maintenance of records and databases including educational systems, finance system and student management systems
  • Contribute to preparation of reports
  • Responding to correspondence and enquiries face to face, over the phone and via email
  • Managing team inboxes
  • Coordinating meetings and workshops
  • Researching and drafting documents
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Skills/Experience
  • Previous experience in an Administration role
  • Proficient in use of the Microsoft Office suite particularly in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Thrive in managing varying tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Aptitude for learning new systems
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organised
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team
  • People orientated with an ability to develop strong relationships
