Application Support Analyst with ref. 100114

Leading Finance Broker looking for Application Support Analyst to monitor and continuously improve the business application landscape.

About the role:

Assist in the preparation of reports including for audits and performance reporting
Follow and, where necessary, update processes to support key applications including monitoring and alerting systems, documentation and support processes
Ensure adherence to operational standards, risk management and security policies
Monitoring and supporting key business applications to ensure uptime and performance are within business SLAs
Responding to incidents in business applications according to relevant SLAs
Ensuring key business processes (including payments processing, bank statement processing, funding reports) are completed within business SLAs
Work with application delivery team on handover of new applications, feedback and resolution of issues
On-boarding and off-boarding of user accounts for staff and clients in key business applications
Analyse current processes and interactions for improvements in reliability, error handling and efficiency
Implement improvements according to prioritised pipeline
Work with peers/other stakeholders regarding required follow up enhancements, setting out rationale for required enhancements
Awareness of and compliance with established policies and procedures ensuring that work is conducted in a manner which safeguards the incumbent and their co-workers

About you:

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or relevant discipline
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, expertise in .Net Framework, .Net Core
