About the Company

This large organisation within the Transportation sector is currently looking for a Business Analyst to provide business analyst and technical writing services.

You will work with various stakeholders to ensure improvement of business processes and capabilities are assessed as well as documenting testing cases and performing testing, where you will be working across several different projects in the application and ICT.

About the Role:

• Providing business analysis and technical writing services
• Providing hands-on business analysis work to agile and waterfall projects
• Reviewing functional and technical requirements with vendors and development teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and can be successfully delivered
• Producing/updating new/existing documents around traceability matrices, business, and test cases
• Planning and executing system testing and integration testing
• Reviewing functional and technical requirements with vendors and development teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and can be successfully delivered

About You:

• Understanding and experience of Business Analysis and Project Management bodies of knowledge
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and testing
• Experience in projects for Asset Management Tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability and ability to conceptualize and think creatively
• Strong written and verbal communications skills to ensure effective communication with all levels of the business, including the ability to convey complex information clearly and influentially
• Persuasive and patient with good interpersonal skills
• Experience in public transport is preferred, especially around rail and light rail environments asset data and information management.
