Job description
Our Federal Government Agency seeks to engage Cloud Software Engineers with solid understanding of software development principles as well as knowledge/skills with Azure or other cloud technologies.
- You will have a particular interest in cloud-native development and infrastructure as code.
- 12 months contract renewable - Role can be performed in Canberra head office or Sydney or Melbourne
- AU Citizenship is a must as per obtaining baseline clearance
Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, maintainable, & scalable code
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
- Revise, update, refactor & debug code
- Assist with operations support duties
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Improve and maintain existing software
Candidate Capabilities:
Mandatory experience:
- Developing & delivering enterprise web applications utilising established development tools
- .NET
- JavaScript / Typescript
- Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture
- SQL / Entity Framework
- CI/CD Practices
Highly Desirable experience:
- Cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code
- Azure Devops pipeline automation
- PowerShell & Git
- Test automation
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) & Agile methodologies.
