Job description

Commercial Controller ANZ

  • End-to-end planning and financial control of Commercial, Capex, Supply Chain and overheads

  • $190,000-$220,000 + Super & Bonus

  • Manufacturing or FMCG experience essential 
Working closely with both local and global teams, the role supports monthly closings and provides detailed variance analysis against budget and forecast. It delivers actionable insights and recommendations to the ANZ CFO, senior leadership, and key stakeholders—highlighting key commercial drivers, commenting on value chain performance, and proposing corrective actions where necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead ANZ budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes to align with group targets.
  • Coordinate with departments to gather, validate, and analyze financial data.
  • Monitor monthly risks, opportunities, and year-end forecast performance.
  • Provide strategic support and insights to the ANZ CFO.
  • Analyze financial results across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, identifying improvement areas.
  • Oversee pricing strategy, Gross-to-Net evolution, and promotional investments.
  • Manage monthly and year-end closings, performing variance analysis and recommending actions.
  • Authorize marketing/trade spend and support trade terms and customer P&L evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with group standards and support finance-related transformation projects.
  • Lead stock valuation and monitor destruction costs at ANZ level.
  • Support transfer pricing calculations and ANZ financial initiatives.
  • Review and sign contracts in line with delegated authority.
  • Manage and develop team members, fostering engagement, growth, and collaboration.
