Job description

- Initial 12 month contract (possibility of extension)
- Up to $90 p/hr + super (40 hour week)
NSW Government Agency is looking for a Construction Project Engineer with development assessment experience to join their team in Parramatta. You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of Complex and Minor Works Construction Projects.
The Role:
- Liaison with stakeholders as required including consultation, approvals and signoffs;
- Co-ordination and management of the project consultants where required, including mechanical engineering, QS and other specialist consultants to achieve client objectives;
- Management of the construction contract as the Principal’s representative.
- Management of claims and processing payments in the PWA SAP system for the Contractor.
- Management of the asset commissioning where relevant, handover and defects liability period.
- Management of project quality, program, risk and budget to achieve client objectives during the construction delivery phase.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Construction / Engineering and or/ previous industry experience undertaking a range of projects
- Experience managing complex and minor work projects
- Strong communication, report writing and stakeholder engagement skills
