  • Parramatta / Hybrid
  • Initial contract until 31.01.25 (possibilities for extension)
  • Pays up to $800 p/d + Super (7hrs working day)

NSW Government Agency is looking for an experienced Corporate Affairs Manager with exposure to the Government sector to join their team in Parramatta!

You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Corporate Affairs communication and engagement program. This includes oversight of all corporate affairs matters including internal and external communications, media management, branding and stakeholder engagement.

The Role:

  • Lead and manage the development and implementation programs that support ongoing capability development and uplift.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships through strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and resolution of issues.
  • Lead consultation with stakeholders to support the development and delivery of programs.
  • Contribute to strategic coordination activities to ensure they are treated in accordance with existing standards and accepted principles.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate outcomes and provide expert advice and support to the branch director, leaders, and managers.
  • Identify emerging issues and trends related to matters that affect/impact on the team and recommend interventions and remedial actions in response to identified risks, gaps or inconsistencies.
  • Manage and support the branch, including establishing a team environment which fosters high morale, performance, ethical behaviour, and wellbeing of team members.

About you:

  • Demonstrated extensive experience at a senior level in the management.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as business, management, communications, and/or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Deep understanding of corporate communication stakeholder engagement, and government relations.
  • Media management and community engagement experience to navigate through state and local government processes combined with strong leadership skills and the ability to drive performance in a complex, politically and commercially sensitive environment
