Our client, a global organisation is seeking an experienced Communications Manager for a permanent role in Macquarie Park. As the Communications Manager, you will partner with Senior Leadership and the wider marketing and brand teams to ensure cohesive corporate communications are upheld both internally and externally.

This role will report directly to the Managing Director and will work closely with the Senior Marketing leaders to deliver a robust communications program that aligns with the global strategy. Our client is about to move into an exciting launch phase. 

To be considered for this role, you must have experience in Communications within the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Sector or Banking. 

Duties within the role will include but not be limited to:

  • Responsible for all product communications and specific brand communication plans.
  • Ensure that all corporate communications adhere to strategy guidelines
  • Review current communication content and practices and identify areas for development or improvement.
  • Review relevant media coverage daily with relevant internal (and in some instances external) stakeholders.
  • Develop programs and opportunities to engage with key external stakeholders
  • Prepare and maintain written materials such as messaging materials, Q&A documents, media background, and corporate fact sheets.
  • Oversee corporate communication and management for company LinkedIn pages and Australian website content and internal platforms
  • Responsible for internal and external corporate communications and content creation for forthcoming brand and product launches
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities, and implementing initiatives with external patient Organisations
  • Partnering with brand teams, medical and key government affairs organisations
  • Develops and maintains trusted relationships with Australian-based Patient Organisations, building sustainable partnerships.
  • Creates and implements strategy and tactical plans for work with Patient Organisations, in partnership with Brand and Marketing teams.
  • Deliver internal communication activities to raise the awareness and understanding of patient needs within the organisation.
  • Partner with wider brand and marketing teams in the delivery and execution of internal and external projects.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or relevant background
  • Experienced in corporate communications within the pharmaceutical industry (5 years experience preferred)
  • Internal and external stakeholder management experience
  • Experienced in new product launches
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experienced in MS Suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
  • Current MA Code of Conduct Program 1 Certificate preferred
