We are looking for a Graphic Designer for a Local Council client based in inner city suburbs. This role is paying $65 per hour + super and is a 6 month contract.

About the Role
  • Deliver graphic design and production of publications using Adobe Creative Suite and support the delivery of communication plans, projects and campaigns through the creation of effective content for a variety of digital formats and audiences
  • Use user-centred design principles; including a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, logos, social media content, websites and digital media such as animations and video
  • Produce print or digital collateral, in response to internal client briefs or business needs, including developing concepts, graphics and layouts
  • Maintains and champions the office corporate identity guidelines and accessibility guidelines, including advising on approved fonts, images, readability and readers’ needs
  • Uses the corporate identity guidelines to define and create a visual language as an extension of the brand (illustrations, icons, colours, typography, animations, etc.)
  • Support and contribute to the operations of the communications and customer access team through campaign and strategy planning, social media content publishing and monitoring, email marketing and website updates
  • Develop and maintain office Microsoft templates in accordance with corporate identity guidelines
Skills & Experience
•        Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing or Graphic Design
•        Experience in a fast paced, graphic design role
•        VIC government experience is preferable
