Invoicing Specialist- ASAP Start – Permanent Opportunity
- Darlinghurst Full Time – parking available on site
- $80k + super
We are looking for a meticulous Invoicing Specialist to join our clients team.
The successful candidate will be joining the finance team and be the 8th team member. The ideal candidate will understand accounting principles, analytical skills, and play a crucial role in managing the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with our financial policies. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure all billing data is accurate and complies with company policies and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices and credit notes to clients
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams to gather necessary information for invoicing, including sales contracts, service agreements, and client-specific requirements.
- Reconcile invoicing records with accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Tracking of payments – making sure to follow up on overdue invoices
- Maintain organised records of all invoices and payment receipts
- Generate reports related to invoicing
- Prepare monthly summaries for management, providing insights into billing performance
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Overseeing the lifecycle of the orders covering the full process from Sales to Customer Services, Logistics and Finance in the context of ensuring that all the required steps to invoice are met.
- Proven experience in an invoicing, accounts payable or related accounting role
- Experience with SAP and Salesforce
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Great phone manner
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
