  • Pays up to $51.08 p/h + Super (7 hrs working day)


NSW Government Agency is looking for a Learning & Development Officer with experience in Government to develop and implement learning programs.


Assisting the Workforce Support Team, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of strategic projects and other key deliverables in relation to workforce development strategies. The primary focus of the role is to develop the capabilities of employees across the Estate Management Division through the development and delivery of internal and external training to meet staff development objectives.


About the role:

  • Perform quality assurance on existing training & engagement materials.
  • Develop and implement learning programs including scoping, development and delivery of training modules.
  • Coordinate resources, develop training materials, manage budgets, and evaluate and report to ensure consistent delivery of a high quality, tailored learning program.
  • Facilitate training workshops to build capability, engagement and performance of managers and staff to achieve the business objectives of the Department and support cultural change.
  • Research and analyse emerging themes and trends in contemporary HR and L&D best practice and make recommendations on fit for purpose solutions.



  • Prior knowledge and experience in the government sector (desirable).
  • Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant HR or Training field and proven professional experience (desirable).
  • Experience utilising L&D Software Programs such as Articulate 360 or Camtasia (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
