Our client, a Local Government in the southeast is seeking a Learning & Development Project Officer for a 2-month contract to help bring a critical compliance learning framework to life.
This is a full-time opportunity (Monday–Friday), offering hybrid work flexibility (3 days in-office, 2 days from home), on-site parking, and a collaborative team environment.
You’ll be instrumental in finalising and implementing a compliance learning framework that supports the council’s commitment to governance, ethical conduct, and a positive compliance culture. This role sits at the intersection of OD, L&D, and compliance, with scope to influence policy development and learning strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Finalising and delivering a structured Compliance Learning Framework.
- Designing engaging learning experiences and course content (including eLearning).
- Developing staff-facing communication and engagement materials.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and buy-in.
- Drafting policy, planning implementation schedules, and supporting change communication.
- Proven experience in L&D or OD roles with a compliance, governance, or policy focus.
- Understanding of compliance learning needs—experience in local government is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience in project planning, delivery, and managing learning frameworks.
- Ability to write policies and develop effective, engaging learning materials.
