Education System Library Assistant- Previous experience as a Library Assistant ideally within Education.

Are you an experienced Library Assistant with strong working knowledge of Ex Libris Alma? We are seeking a detail-oriented and systems-savvy professional to join an education-based library team in a fixed-term opportunity through to November.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a collaborative academic library environment supporting students, staff and researchers.
Reporting into the Library team, you will play a key role in supporting library systems, electronic resources, and metadata integrity. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless access to collections and assist with maintaining and optimising the library management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain records within Ex Libris Alma
- Support electronic resource access and troubleshoot system issues
- Manage metadata quality and ensure data integrity
- Assist with analytics and reporting to support collection decisions
- Collaborate across teams to improve workflows and user experience
- Provide responsive support to internal stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience using Ex Libris Alma (essential)
- Experience supporting library systems within an education or academic environment
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot access and metadata issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Capacity to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
