Job description

  • Contribute to strategies, campaigns, and advertising

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Marketing, this role will be responsible for developing and leading innovative and impactful advertising and communication campaigns. This Manager will be responsible for leading the research, strategic development, implementation and evaluation of mass awareness campaigns and projects. The role will also provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of high performing and passionate marketing communication professionals. The purpose of the wider team is to increase community awareness and drive behavioural change through public awareness campaigns.

 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Support the delivery of innovative and high impact marketing campaigns and initiatives, based on evidence and audience insights
  • Lead and guide a high performing team of professional marketers and contribute to a positive culture
  • Contribute strategically within the leadership team
  • Develop and deliver fully integrated marketing and communication strategies to support Government incentives
  • Oversee the creation and review of government documentation
  • Liaise with other government stakeholders to execute campaigns 
  • Manage relationships and procurement requirements for all external advertising and media agencies

 

Previous Experience

  • Demonstrate capability and experience in delivering effective, through the line, behaviour change campaigns
  • Demonstrate experience in effective people leadership, with strong ability to foster a high performing and collaborative culture
  • Significantly demonstrate experience in media planning and buying
  • Excellent engagement experience with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in government marketing and communications is highly desirable
