Job description
- Initial 3 month contract
- Paying up to $900 per day + super
- Based in Parramatta, hybrid working
Develop and implement evidence-based policy and procedures to support the implementation of the regulation framework for this NSW Government Agency.
About the role:
- Develop, undertake and manage strategy, policy, guidelines and processes and deliver programs and initiatives
- Balance the priorities and demands of community, industry and government stakeholders in policy development and issues management
- Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders in the development and implementation of complex strategies and policies
- Lead and manage a range of projects to improve customer focus for this NSW Government Agency
- Provide strategic and operational advice to the Board and CEO and oversee effective secretariat support to Board processes
- Provide advice and issues management to the Minister and Department on risk and governance to improve policy
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in strategic planning, policy development, regulation and/or program development, or a related discipline.
- Experience with Land Policy, Planning or Environmental Policy
- NSW State Government Policy & Project Experience
