Job description

  • Initial 3 month contract
  • Paying up to $900 per day + super
  • Based in Parramatta, hybrid working  


Develop and implement evidence-based policy and procedures to support the implementation of the regulation framework for this NSW Government Agency.


About the role:


  • Develop, undertake and manage strategy, policy, guidelines and processes and deliver programs and initiatives
  • Balance the priorities and demands of community, industry and government stakeholders in policy development and issues management
  • Engage with senior internal and external stakeholders in the development and implementation of complex strategies and policies
  • Lead and manage a range of projects to improve customer focus for this NSW Government Agency
  • Provide strategic and operational advice to the Board and CEO and oversee effective secretariat support to Board processes
  • Provide advice and issues management to the Minister and Department on risk and governance to improve policy

About you:


  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in strategic planning, policy development, regulation and/or program development, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Land Policy, Planning or Environmental Policy
  • NSW State Government Policy & Project Experience
