Job description
- Contract Role – 12 Months – Possible Extension to follow
- $600-$750 p/d + Super (Depending on Experience)

Reporting to the Team Leader Delivery Services in Operational Technology, this role is responsible for:
- Prepare SCADA/IICATS projects Project Brief and Business Case
- Prepare SCADA/IICATS projects scope of work and provide budgetary estimate
- Participate in all aspect of awarding the work and vendor management
- Manage SCADA/IICATS projects and service delivery
- Review quality of delivery and financial performance of the external partners.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Project Planning:
- Prepare Project Briefs, budgetary estimate and Business Cases for SCADA and IICATS capital programs and see them through to approvals and funding release.
- Prepare SCADA/IICATS projects scope of work in consultation with customers (including Water and Environmental Services and Infrastructure Delivery).
- Prepare tender documentation and work with Corporate Procurement on OT project tenders.
- Manage SCADA/IICATS projects delivery.
- Manage project scope, schedule and budget.
- Manage interactions between multiple projects including nominating priorities.
- Effectively monitor the progress of individual projects.
- Participate in project progress meetings.
- Review project status reports.
- Review project Early Warning Notices (EWN) and Compensation Events (CE).
- Facilitate project delivery with other Water groups, Water business systems and processes, Regional Delivery Consortia, etc.
- Process monthly progress claim invoicing from SCADA Service providers.
- Prepare For Approval memo such as single source memo, Compensation Event approval memo.
- Prepare reports of financial expenditure.
- Perform project administration activities including project creation, forecasting, project status reports, capitalisation and closure.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (engineering, project management), or minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA systems in Water and Wastewater industry.
- Demonstrated ability in overseeing management of diverse SCADA projects.
- Experience in site investigations to determine SCADA/IICATS requirements.
- Experience in Business Case preparation.
- Experience in the use of Corporate Business Information systems to record, interrogate and report information including the Departments BxP implementation of SAP.
