Schematic Design Officer

Job description

• 6 month contract with possible extension
• Paying up to $405 per day plus super
• Located in Blackwork and WFH

Update alarm system drawings in line with this NSW Government Agency deadlines and objectives.

• Produce quality work in a high volume environment and within strict deadlines.
• Insert and update alarm system drawings into existing school plans by utilising graphics manipulation software and PDF editing software
• Liaise with Security Design Officers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of alarm system drawings
• Update old designs to be redrawn in a modern way
• Work from existing templates to update plans in accordance with deadlines for this NSW Government Agency
• Maintain appropriate records and other documentation in a professional and well written manner

About you:

• Demonstrated competency with desktop computer applications.
• Adobe Acrobat Pro, Visio (or similar), PDF Editors and MS Office
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
