Cyber Security Operations Analyst - NSW Government department

I am currently supporting a client within NSW Government in their search for a Security Operations Analyst. We are seeking a confident, technical focussed Cyber Security Operations Analyst to effectively hit the ground whilst ensuring protection of data across platforms. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Main responsibility will be the protection of data across the desired service platform whilst monitoring risk
• Maintaining and developing the architecture across the platform, implementing change where required to obtain a compliant level of security 
• Continuos observation and investigation across the platform to ensure not only compliance standards but also limit risk and security breaches 

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years experience within an IT Security position 
• A practical understanding of networking and security concepts, protocols and methodologies 
• Insurance or government experience would be highly preferable 
• Relevant Bachelors or equivalent qualification is required
