Job description
Our client is an iconic Australian brand headquartered in Sydney. Due to planned expansion, they are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join their talented team of 4 mobile engineers. You will have the opportunity to work on a of high-profile native Android application used by Aussies across the country! You will be responsible for leading the migration from XML to Jetpack Compose, the development of new features & initiatives, bug fixes and maintenance.Technologies: Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, MVVM
Requirements:
- Proven commercial native Android engineering experience
- Fluency in Kotlin & Coroutines
- Proficiency with XML and Jetpack Compose
- Design pattern proficiency: MVVM
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Experience across the full development lifecycle of native Android apps
- Experience mentoring or providing technical leadership on a project
