Job description

Our client is a Microsoft specialist technology business based in Sydney CBD. Due to planned expansion, they are looking for a Senior Sales Consultant to join, sell their suite of software products and take ownership of the sales process. This role will report directly to the CEO and will be working very closely with the marketing team to generate leads and close deals.

Responsibilities:
  • Inbound & outbound sales depending on pipeline status
  • Inbound; respond to incoming interest from prospects via phone and email
  • Outbound; proactive prospecting, cold calling & emailing, identify potential buyers in market (BD tools provided)
  • Book meetings, run software demos with the product team to identify client requirements
  • Match software product features, benefits and close deals
  • Follow up on leads, objection handle and close out leads (cold, warm, hot)
  • Identify opportunities to up and cross-sell features
Products: Sharepoint, Microsoft365 suite

Requirements:
  • Proven commercial outbound sales or business development experience
  • Experience across the full sales process from prospecting to close of sale and aftercare
  • Experience with business development tools (Apollo, Lusha, Mailchimp, etc)
  • Software or SAAS sales experience (highly desirable)
Non-technical requirements:
  • Proactive sales mentality, you aren't afraid of BD/outbound sales
  • Methodical BD/sales approach
  • Understand what needs to be done based on pipeline status
