I am currently supporting a client within NSW Government in their search for a Social Data Analyst. We are seeking a confident, environmentally focussed research officer to effectively hit the ground whilst having a passion for social science. 

About the Role

The Social Data Analyst provides analysis and evaluation expertise. as well as high level strategic, evidence-based advice to support the core activities of the Portfolio. 

Generating presentations and dashboards to coincide with the data obtained

Generation of ideas and data in relation to social and behavioural sentiments within NSW community 

Skills & Experience

• Relevant Social Science qualification
• 2-4 years experience in either social or environment research role
• Proven experience in a similar Data Analyst role 
• Strong background knowledge in data visualisation and analytics
• Proven experience as part of a Reporting & Analytics function
• Good communication and engagement skills
• Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills
• Ability to manage competing demands
• Great attitude and not afraid to roll up their sleeves
• Strong Excel, Q Research and SPSS experience
