Job description
- Up to $75,000 + Super + Incentives
- Burnside, South Australia
- Permanent Full-Time
- Career development, progression opportunities and great culture
- Beautiful Australian premium fashion and lifestyle brand with a global presence
Our client is a leading fashion and lifestyle brand with a strong national and global footprint and a loyal customer base. Renowned for elevated store presentation, fit expertise and an omni-channel service model, they offer long-term careers within a high-end retail environment.
The Role
As Store Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end performance of a high-volume store. You will lead, coach and motivate an energetic team to deliver exceptional client experiences, uphold immaculate VM and operational standards, and consistently achieve sales and KPI targets. This role requires a self-sufficient and commercially minded leader. You’ll need to be confident running the business independently, driving results, and making sound operational decisions while maintaining alignment with company-wide expectations and direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing team; set clear goals, coach in real time, and drive accountability to exceed sales and service KPIs.
- Champion a premium client experience across all touchpoints (greeting, change-room etiquette, styling/fit expertise, CRM building and after-sales follow-up).
- Uphold brand standards in VM, housekeeping and personal presentation; ensure guidelines are executed precisely and consistently.
- Manage day-to-day operations: rostering to trade, cash handling and EOD, shrink control, compliance and monthly audits; lead effective stock management and stocktakes.
- Drive omni-channel excellence (Click & Collect, Floor-to-Door/Ship-from-Store, reservations and fit appointments) to maximise conversion and client satisfaction.
- Analyse store traffic and performance data to identify opportunities and action plan improvements in partnership with the Area Manager.
- Coordinate local client engagement, events and community initiatives to grow database acquisition and repeat business.
- Proven leadership experience in a premium fashion or lifestyle retail environment.
- A strong track record of driving sales, KPIs and cost control through smart rostering, coaching and commercial decision-making.
- Exceptional people leadership skills — the ability to motivate teams, give structured feedback, and build a positive, accountable culture.
- Impeccable personal presentation and strong communication skills; calm, professional and solutions-focused.
- High attention to detail and operational discipline (VM execution, policy/procedure governance, audit readiness).
- Agility, urgency and a hands-on approach—thrives on the floor with customers while balancing admin and reporting.
- Self-sufficiency and initiative—able to operate effectively without daily oversight, while respecting and executing company direction.
• Up to $75,000 + Super + Incentives
• Clear development pathways across retail leadership and potential Head Office opportunities
• A collaborative culture and the platform of a respected, growing brand
