Job description
- Technical Business Analyst
- Rest API’s – Postman *Mandatory experience*
- 12 month+ Daily Rate Contract - $800-$900 inclusive
- Global Fintech – Agile organisation
Technical Business Analyst is required to work within an Agile squad on a new API Integration project for a global fintech company in Sydney. Previous experience working on REST API’s and documenting API specifications is paramount for this role.
Responsibilities will include:
- Requirements gathering and analysis using Agile techniques
- Work closely with the development teams providing functional and non-functional requirements
- Document user stories or project requirements
- Prioritise user stories in conjunction with the product manager/owner or project requirements
- Review design and testing deliverables to ensure completeness of requirements
- Actively participate in Agile processes including planning and estimation
- Write acceptance criteria in collaboration with the testing team
- Showcase the products to project stakeholders
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
To be successful for this position you will need to display:
- End-End Business Analysis experience
- Must have strong REST API experience - Ability to document API specifications or previous experience and knowledge of working with tools such as Swagger
- Ideally coming from a technical background, you are comfortable with functional requirements
- Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to write basic sql queries
- A passion for innovation, Agile and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Excellent verbal communication and proven quality stakeholder engagement skills with vendors
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interact with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts
