This pivotal role involves creating clear, precise, and user-friendly operational and instructional manuals for their manufacturing site. You'll provide interim support in governance and risk management to maintain continuity and compliance. The role will also collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and meets the highest safety standards.
Key responsibilties
- Prepare and submit monthly Health & Safety reports and transfer data into relevant slide packs including but not limited to Safety First Committee meetings and Board Safety Security and Sustainability Sub Committee meetings.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of reports.
- Facilitate and participate in risk assessment and review meetings with stakeholders as well as monitoring the status of risk reviews
- Support the Safety and Risk Administrator in maintaining and updating the risk register.
- Work directly with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather and validate critical technical information.
- Ensure all documentation rigorously adheres to relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Demonstrated experience as a Technical Writer with exposure to risk & quality
- A strong ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and intricate engineering data.
- Proficiency with industry-standard documentation and publishing tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, MS Word).
- Experience in creating and seamlessly integrating technical illustrations into manuals.
- Exceptional written English skills, with a keen eye for clarity and usability.
- A solid understanding of WHS (Work Health and Safety) & risk requirements.
