The Company
A 3-Partner firm in Caringbah are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join their close-knit team.
The Partners progressed through the firm from a junior level and want everyone who joins to walk the same path. The team is personal, caring, and high performing with low staff turnover.
This role has been newly created due to a long-standing and loyal client base who are constantly referring them work.
You will have direct contact with your clients and take ownership of a portfolio of Individuals, trusts, companies, partnerships and SMSF’s. The firm has over 150 SMSF’s, 4 of them being greater than $50m funds. In addition to this, more than 5 of their clients are ranked in the top 500 wealthiest in Australia.

The Role
In this role you will be supporting a Directors and Managers on a diverse portfolio of clients. As part of the business services team, you will provide business advisory and tax compliance services to your clients, you will also take an active role in helping to train and mentor junior members of staff. 
This is a career opportunity that has a very realistic career path to become a Partner in the future. You will be exposed to complex and interesting work aside from the usual business services & tax compliance work you will also be involved with large structuring/ restructuring, estate planning, tax advisory, complex div7a calculations, meeting with clients regularly, tax planning, budgeting, forecasting and overall acting as a trusted advisor to your client base.

About you 
This role is well suited to an ambitious intermediate who is eager to learn more and progress their career
To be considered you will be;
 

• CA or CPA qualified/part qualified 
• At least 2.5 years’ experience within a public practice firm 
• An Australian Citizen or permanent resident
