- Previous Credit Controller or Debt Collection experience will be highly regarded

We’re working with a leading accountancy firm in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD to find two experienced Credit Controllers for a 3-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and supportive finance team within a nationally respected organisation.

You’ll join the national Credit Control team, helping to manage and refine credit processes, reduce outstanding debtors, and maintain positive client relationships. Working closely with colleagues across the country, your work will directly support the firm’s financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage outstanding debtor accounts
- Support and enforce national credit policies and procedures
- Work closely with partners, managers, and clients to achieve monthly collection targets
- Prepare accurate and timely reports for debtor ledger management
- Handle invoice and statement distribution, manage client disputes, and implement repayment plans
- Apply and help refine the 'Stop Work Policy' for aged debts
- Assist with credit policy development and support change management initiatives
- Prior experience in a professional services environment (e.g., accounting, legal, consulting)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident managing credit control processes and working toward collection targets
- Solid organisational and time-management skills
- Familiar with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements
- A relevant diploma or equivalent experience preferred
