Commercial Manager- $160,000-$180,000 + Super & Bonus

This business are a leader in their field, with an excellent reputation and desire to continue growing this is an opportunity not to be missed. They operate on a national scale, with the key locations being Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. This role being based in Sydney’s CBD, they are close to public transport and the CBD’s bars and restaurants.
About the Role
- Overseeing debt financing for the entire portfolio of operating assets and development projects (debt facilities exceed $1bn and will continue to increase)
- Managing interest rate derivatives to appropriately hedge exposure
- Managing the annual external valuation process
- Developing financial modelling and analysis skills to assess project opportunities
- Managing the annual budget and forecasting process
- Preparing acquisition models, conducting commercial due diligence and drafting investment papers for consideration
- Assisting in managing, closing and settling of potential asset acquisitions
- Commercial review and cost/benefit analysis of major investments and identifying cost improvements/operating synergies
- Well versed in all things debt financing, this will include modelling, review of legals and communication with lawyers and banks
- Excellent communicator, being able to adapt your communication style based on your audience
- Motivated self starter
- Strong financial research, modelling skills and report writing
- Commercial acumen and ability to understand the bigger picture and/or develop alternative ideas
- Relevant university degree or finance qualification
