Job description

Key accountabilities:
 

  • Ensure effective work practices are carried out
  • Preparation and delivery of detailed reports
  • Preparing and delivering educational material in regard to health documentation
  • Investigating reports of environmental complaints
  • Advising relative parties on assessment of noise, waste, food hygiene and air quality
  • Auditing and monitoring Commercial premises to ensure practices are in regulation with current legislation
  • Resolving public health issues and inspecting waste management systems
  • Carrying out inspection on various commercial premises to ensure compliance with health standards

Essential criteria:

  • To be considered for this role, you MUST have previous experience working for Local Council in a similar role
  • You must be able to answer question related to Government Act and Legislation regarding environmental health
  • Ability to understand and interpret Legislation
  • Current C class driver’s licence
  • Strong written and verbal communication
