A prominent, national firm looking to add to their award-winning Planning and Environment team.

The firm
Our client is a progressive, independent law firm, with offices situated nationally. Due to continued growth and influx of work, the Planning and Environment team seek to appoint a commercially minded Associate with a minimum of two years post admission experience to join a growing team. This firm have heavily invested in the branding of its national coverage and it consistently continues to build upon an extensive and varied client base of local, state and Commonwealth government clients as well as private sector clients in a wide range of industries.


About the role
This role is a great opportunity if you are an experienced Planning & Environment lawyer who is looking for an opportunity at a firm that encourages developing a personal brand as well as assisting the firm in continuing their strong reputation. This P&E practice
is one of the largest and most highly experienced in Australia and holds a strong pipeline of work, to support further growth.

Day to day, you will be involved in advising on environmental and planning approval pathways, environmental licencing issues, pollution and contamination issues, and environmental and planning litigation.
You will be offered unparalleled support and scope to develop in a friendly, balance culture.
 
Ideally you will possess:

  • 2+ years PQE;
  • A high level of client care;
  • An ambition to carve out a successful career in this area of law;
  • Exposure to the New South Wales environmental and planning regimes;
  • Commercially aware;
  • Strong interpersonal/ communication skills.
