Job description
We currently have a permanent Collections Lead/Supervisor opportunity working with a highly regarded client in the car financing sector, this role sits within their large Collections Centre and you will be looking after the Collections Services team, coaching and mentoring them with their day to day work and call queries as well as putting together plans for them to meet their KPI's.
Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Support the performance levels of the collections team, including speed and quality of work
- Ensure that actions undertaken by the team comply with all regulatory requirements
- Be able to help resolve escalated queries within guidelines
- Understanding compliance requirements and how they apply and be able to coach on staff on how to communicate these to customers
- Must adhere to all policy, process and procedural requirements
- Assist and advise regards continuous process improvements/efficiencies
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external parties
Requirements/Skills
- Must be a strong and clear communicator both written and verbally
- Collections within a Financial Services sector role (automotive finance is advantage)
- Clear understanding of Personal Financing/Secured Loans Legislations
- Mentoring and Coaching skills and experience
- Strong problem solving, complaint resolution and analysis skills
- Must hold self accountable to help the team deliver high quality service and meet targets
