About the Role:

My client is looking for a Senior Finance Officer to join their Ashfield Office. You will ideally have a background in Management Accounting/ Financial Analysis in order to support business customers with budgeting, forecasting and analysis. This role reports through to the Senior Finance Business Partner.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, maintain and manage accounting and financial information to facilitate a robust and consistent approach
  • Develop and implement finance policies and accounting standards
  • Review budget performance and provide reporting and analysis for end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting functions
  • Undertake analysis and review of management reports and identify critical financial issues
  • Provide high level expert advice to the Chief Financial Officer, Director and/or Manager
  • Design and implement strategies to educate relevant business areas to develop financial capability
  •  Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Work effectively with team members towards mutual continued development  

About You:

  • Highly analytical and numeric
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with large ERP and general ledger systems such as SAP
  • Experience with Analysis and Reporting tools such as Business Objects
  • Experience with Budgeting and Forecasting tools
