Administration Assistant – Government - Temp Contract

  • Immediate start, aiming for Monday 12th August, initial contract through to 6th September with view to extend
  • Blacktown location - Onsite full time
  • $45ph + super
  • Full time, Monday to Friday
  • Experience within the HR, education or with learning management systems highly beneficial
Our client within the Government sector is seeking an Administration professional for a temporary contract. This is a contract role and we require candidates who are ready to hit the ground running and available for an immediate start. This role offers a friendly and supportive working environment.

Duties within the role will include but not limited to:
  • Provide a high standard of clerical, administrative support to the wider team
  • Transferring date and answers from hardcopy performance reviews into an online system
  • Answering simple phone enquiries
  • Data entry
  • Other administrative duties as required
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in an administration role
  • Strong computer skills particularly with Microsoft Office
  • Are motivated and self-driven 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience within a Government environment is beneficial but not essential
  • Must be available for the entire initial contract
  • Experience within HR or the education sector in a similar administration based role would be highly regarded
