Charterhouse are partnered with one of our long-standing clients who are looking for an Assistant Manager to join their growing team based in the heart of North Sydney. The partners are Ex-top 10 meaning they have excellent processes in place. This firm has the backing of a global organisation; this is an exceptional opportunity to join a respected and forward-thinking team.
The firm consists of 5-directors and a head count of around 40 and growing, through organic growth and a recent acquisition with major growth plans over the next couple of years – meaning this role can progress quickly onto Manager and they have a clear pathway to Partnership in place.
About the role
As an Assistant Manager you will work directly with one of the Partners and your role will include but not be limited to:
- Mentorship & management of a team of junior accountants
- Providing close assistance to senior staff & both partners
- Manage your own client base & be the main point of contact
- Offer tax advice to client base
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Business Services
- Experience reviewing work of Junior staff
- CA/CPA Qualified
- Confident in a client facing position offering advice
- A strong understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals
