Join the leadership team at a reputable Top 20 Accounting firm, as they are looking for a strategic and experienced professional to fill the pivotal role of Director of Business Services and Tax. This is an opportunity for a Senior Manager to step up into a Director role too. There will be a clear progression pathway for equity within the next 2 years.

As the Director of Business Services and Tax, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing our business services and tax strategies, ensuring compliance, and driving the success of our client engagements alongside the other directors and partners. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing complex tax issues, leading teams, and delivering high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize business services and tax functions
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of business services and tax professionals
• Provide expert guidance on tax planning, compliance, and reporting matters
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and deliver tailored solutions
• Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
• Foster strong client relationships and identify opportunities for business development
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CA/CPA or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable
• Proven experience in a leadership role within business services and tax
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients and onshore team of accountants
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team
• Passion for strategy and business development
