• Initial contract until 01/05/2022 (Potential to convert to perm after)
• Pays $894 a day + super

Tier 1 Construction Agency is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager with extensive Construction experience to join their team. You will provide technical and management support to the existing functions of the commercial team. You will also be providing support and leading technical aspects to the remainder of the team enabling a profitable and successful delivery of the project

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and Submission of Head Contract Correspondence including Variations, Time Management Notices, Responses and Contract Compliance.
• Commercial support of the engineering personnel with commercial management, cost forecasting and general trade package management.
• Subcontract management including trade variation assessment and negotiations, and claim analysis.
• Development of adjoining teams and staff.
• Management of contract administration roles, integrating with direct consultation with Trade Package Managers, Site Manager, Area Foreman and relevant trades.
• Additional client commercial management including variations, extensions of time and contract compliance.

About you:

• Tertiary qualifications in Contract Administration / Quantity Surveying or another relevant field and/or an equivalent in professional experience
• At least multiple years of experience working with an established construction company
• White Card & Valid drivers licence
• Experience working on Large ($100m+) to Major Projects (desirable)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
