• Sydney CBD / Hybrid (Up to 3 days in office)
• Initial contract until 31.12.24 (Opportunities for extensions)
• Pays between $450-$600 p/d + Super (8 hrs working day)

NSW Government Agency is looking for a Commercial Sourcing & Contracts Officer with experience in the facilities/minor works to join their team!

Working closely with the Facilities Management, Legal, Procurement and ICT Team, you will be responsible for the development and execution of sourcing activities as well as providing contracts administration.

About the role:

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that are supported by risk management, adhere to relevant policy, and procedural and safety requirements.
• Project manage multiple sourcing events including preparing scope in consultation with the business, developing the strategy and market engagement documents (if required) managing responses, coordinating the evaluation, developing the recommendation, and preparing the relevant documentation for each sourcing stage.
• Prepare draft contract instruments to be reviewed by the Commercial Manager that include detailed scope, KPI and a contract governance framework.
• Provide relevant commercial insights and analysis, and work with the Commercial Manager to develop and support negotiation and influencing strategies.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders, suppliers, peers, and subject matter experts in Facilities, Legal, ICT and Procurement.

Essentials:

• Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field and experience in a similar capacity.
• Proven experience in sourcing and contract management within the facilities/construction/minor works space (desirable).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
