Temporary Corporate Receptionist

  • $35 per hour + super

We’re working with a well-established organisation in the energy sector, known for its down-to-earth culture and strong team values. They are looking for a Receptionist / Office Administrator to be the first point of contact for visitors and support the smooth running of day-to-day operations. The role offers plenty of variety and suits someone who is organised, approachable, and enjoys being at the centre of a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome visitors with a warm, professional manner
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Assist in scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Provide administrative support across various departments
  • Monitor and order office supplies as needed
  • Assist in organising office events and activities

About You:

  • Previous experience in a reception role within a corporate setting is essential
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Friendly, professional telephone manner
  • Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
