Data Architect Manager

What You'll Be Doing
- Fostering a culture of excellence in data engineering within the client by implementing industry-leading practices and designing data solutions to establish a cutting-edge enterprise data platform (including Data Lake, data warehouse, and operational data store) on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Defining strategies for data acquisition, storage, aggregation, provisioning, and consumption across various levels and environments.
- Collaborating on defining enterprise data architecture principles, guidelines, and best practices to ensure the delivery of the most effective and efficient modern data platform.
- Demonstrating expertise in data engineering practices, particularly in platforms like Snowflake and Azure Data Factory, while staying attuned to emerging data technologies.
- Collaborating with diverse teams to analyze data requirements and offer solutions aligned with enterprise data architecture and security standards. Your deliverables will typically encompass enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models, data architecture models, data flow diagrams, solution designs, and more.
Preferably you will have a few of the following:
- Understanding of the telco industry is advantageous.
- Microsoft Azure certifications are desirable.
- TOGAF certification, EACOE, or equivalent is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in similar roles such as Data Architect, Solutions Architect, or Senior Data Engineer.
- Extensive expertise in modern data architecture, lambda architecture, data lake implementation, and BI concepts.
- Proficiency in query languages (e.g., SQL), database design, integration design, and advanced analytics platforming.
- Strong experience with cloud-based data warehousing, data architecture, data lakes, and data visualization platforms.
- Proven experience in managing data pipelines, ETL frameworks, and monitoring solutions.
- Experience with cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to architect, design, and operationalize data science, AI, and ML models.
- Familiarity with telco industry data entities and relevant information frameworks (TM Forum SID, MEF).
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and adaptability to changing situations.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
