About the role:
- Manage the annual renewals of local benefit programs, including assessing policy designs, selecting vendors, and overseeing the end-to-end design and delivery of programs. Key programs include group risk insurances, pension programs, medical insurances, and annual health checks.
- Work closely with the Senior Director of Benefits Strategy & Design for APAC to ensure local benefits programs are aligned with the global rewards strategy, compliant with local legislation, and tailored to the needs of each country.
- Assist in benchmarking our client’s benefits offerings against industry standards, analysing data to ensure competitiveness and identify opportunities for program enhancements or cost-saving initiatives.
- Work closely with various internal teams, to ensure smooth execution of programs and gather insights into employee satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors in the region, ensuring that services meet high standards and deliver value for both the company and employees.
- Be the go-to expert for country-specific leave and benefits policies, providing advice and support to both the Employee Success team and other business units.
- 8-10 years of experience managing large-scale benefits programs in the APAC region, with strong knowledge of plan administration, payroll integration, and compliance with local regulations.
- In-depth understanding of insurance benefits (e.g., medical insurance, group risk, and pensions) and retirement plans such as Superannuation is critical for success in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the effective delivery of benefits programs.
- Ability to manage multiple, complex projects autonomously across different countries while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
- Strong data analysis skills to evaluate benefit programs and make informed decisions based on external market trends and internal employee feedback.
