Job description

  • Fernbank location | 3 month contract
  • $55 - $60 per hour, plus super
  • Advising on OHS best practice in accordance with legislation
Charterhouse is partnering with a respected organisation to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to support and drive best-practice WHS outcomes across a diverse and dynamic workforce. This role will suit a proactive safety professional who enjoys working closely with stakeholders, embedding safety systems, and influencing positive change across the organisation.

Our clients’ expectation is to be in the office 3 days per week and working from home 2 days.

Key responsibilities:
  • Provide day to day WHS advice and support to leaders and employees
  • Ensure compliance with Victorian WHS legislation and internal policies
  • Conduct workplace risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits
  • Support injury management and return to work processes
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of WHS systems
  • Deliver safety reporting, insights, and recommendations to key stakeholders
About you:
  • Tertiary qualification in WHS, OHS, Risk Management, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety Advisory role (sector experience advantageous)
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
  • Practical, solutions-focused approach to safety and wellbeing
