About the Company

 

We are looking for a Health & Wellbeing Business Partner for a government client based in Blacktown. This role is paying$64.56 per hour +  super and is a 12 month contract.

 

About the Role

  • Ensure the successful coordination and delivery of initiatives within the Mentally Healthy Workplace Strategy.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organisation’s overall health and wellbeing strategy, aligned with business goals and employee needs.
  • Oversee the creation, monitoring, and updating of all health and wellbeing workplace-related content, learning assets, policies, procedures, and resources.
  • Provide guidance on complex psychosocial workplace matters and liaise with external specialists as necessary.
  • Continuously assess industry trends, regulations, and best practices in employee wellbeing to ensure the organisation remains contemporary in employee health and wellbeing.
  • Innovate and recommend new initiatives and strategies to enhance employee wellbeing, including pilot programs and new partnerships with health providers.
  • Encourage a culture of wellbeing within the organisation, ensuring that all employees, regardless of position, feel supported and valued.
  • Maintain and update the integrated psychosocial risk management dashboard to identify emerging risks and track the effectiveness of initiatives.
  • Contribute to business planning processes to ensure strategic and appropriate resourcing.
  • Initiate and manage psychosocial risk assessments, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations.
  • Develop and implement communication and engagement plans to ensure awareness of health and wellbeing workplace initiatives and resources.
  • Review and update the Mentally Healthy Workplace Strategy annually and assist in preparing the 6-monthly psychosocial safety risk management report.
 

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • A relevant tertiary degree in psychology, or related field
  • Solid experience of developing and project managing organisational-wide initiatives (ideally psychological health and safety related)
  • 4 - 8 years’ solid experience working in a role related to psychological health and safety, injury management or other relevant safety field
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret data related to employee wellbeing, engagement, and program effectiveness.
