About the CompanyWe are seeking a dedicated Injury Management Officer to join a government departement and play a vital role in coordinating effective injury management and return-to-work strategies. This role is based in Blacktown and is a 3 month contract - part time with Thursdays and Fridays in their Blacktown office. It is paying $55.95 per hour + super.
About the Role
- This role is primarily responsible for developing a workers compensation framework whilst supporting existing claim management, rehabilitation activities and systems project work.
- Provide Injury Management services to Council’s injured/ill employees in order to assist them in returning to work after a work-related injury/illness.
- Act in accordance with the NSW Work Health Safety Act 2011, Work Health Safety Regulation 2017 and the Work Health and Safety (WHS) System.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field
- Solid experience in workers’ compensation claims management
- Experience in developing rehabilitation programs to support return-to-work initiatives
- Demonstrable organisational skills
