Job description
Legal Administration Officer – Contract position- $35 - 40 per hour + super
- Immediate start, initial 3 month contract with view to extend
- Gosford location – Onsite only
- Full time preferred, open to part time
This large organisation within the Government sector are seeking two experienced Administration candidates with exposure in the legal sector for a temporary contract with the possibility for extension. Great company culture in a friendly and supportive team.
The successful candidate will need to be able to prioritise workload effectively and demonstrate strong communication and administration skills. This is a contract role, you will need to be highly organised, a self-starter and have the confidence to work independently.
Duties within the role will include but not limited to:
- Reception - phone calls, messages, answering the door, booking meeting rooms
- Photocopying and printing
- Tabbing of briefs and bundles
- Court runs
- Stationary orders / maintaining of stock
- Mail / Courier duties
- Assisting with archiving duties
- Prepare correspondence
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in the delivery of clerical support services including advanced word processing and data entry skills.
- Effective interpersonal, communication skills and organisational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Legal or Government experience is preferred but not essential
- Open to law students with previous administration experience
