Job description

The Role:
This role will be a key member of the Finance team in the APAC & ME region that will help support the growth and development of the business globally. The role provides an exciting opportunity to be instrumental to the strategic direction of the company, working across the entire organization interacting with various stakeholders.
This opportunity would be ideal for an experienced Assistant Accountant / Senior Assistant Accountant who is looking to the next step in their career.
Location: Sydney CBD
REM: $90,000 plus super
Working arrangements: 2 days WFH, 3 days office based
Duties / Experience Required:
- Month end close for the region including Balance Sheet reconciliation
- Being responsible for the day-to-day management of various entities in the region
- Trading & Profitability analysis
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets & forecasts
- Annual statutory audits
- Assisting with periodic tax compliance
- Processing of invoices
- Ad hoc reporting as required
Requirements:
- CA/CPA qualified or studying
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a commercial / business environment
- US GAAP knowledge would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables etc.)
- Experience working in a changing / moving environment
