We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Test Manager for a major digital transformation initiative. 🔍 Role Overview: As the Program Test Manager, you will spearhead the testing strategy for a groundbreaking program. Your mission will be to ensure the flawless execution of testing processes, from defining test strategies to managing resources and coordinating activities across various program streams. You’ll work closely with program and project managers, testing teams, and stakeholders to achieve superior quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define & Implement Strategy: Develop the overall test strategy for the program, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Resource Management: Oversee both manual and automated testing resources, coordinating with Test Leads and project teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product and business stakeholders, including vendors, to deliver on testing requirements.
- Testing Coordination: Manage and coordinate testing activities across various program streams, including security, performance, and accessibility testing.
- Process Improvement: Enhance test processes, methodologies, and automation practices, while maintaining robust test environments.
- Reporting & Issue Resolution: Provide comprehensive reports on test execution and defect resolution, and drive continuous improvement in testing practices.
- Experience: 7+ years in testing, with at least 3 years in test management.
- Skills: Expertise in functional and non-functional testing, including security and performance. Hands-on experience with leading testing tools and automation frameworks.
- Methodologies: Proficient in both Waterfall and Agile delivery, with a solid track record in managing teams and vendors.
- Tools: Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber) and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Personal Attributes: High energy, adaptability, strong communication skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Daily Rate: $1000+
- Length: Initial 6-month contract, with potential for extension as the program runs for 2+ years.
