Receptionist – NSW Government

This large Government organisation requires an experienced receptionist for an exciting temporary opportunity in a friendly and supportive working environment. As the first point of contact, we are looking for someone who is bright and energetic with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.

  • Parramatta location
  • $300 - $350 per day + super
  • Immediate start – Initial 6 month contract with view to extend
  • Full time, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

 

Your day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Checking in visitors using the required procedures
  • Ensuring meeting rooms are clean and organised
  • Inbox management and responding and escalating enquiries where necessary
  • Monitoring and ordering stationery
  • Keeping the kitchen clean and replenishing stock as required
  • Answer all incoming calls and action as required following the script on the reception desk, logging calls
  • Monitor and action all Mail and deliveries coming in

 

Skills and experience:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent phone manner and presentation
  • Fast learner and ability to take initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
