Job description
In this role you will be working a mix of BAU & Projects activity for all network capacity of a Bank
Responsibilities
- Level 2/3 support Network- switch / Firewalls etc
- Ensure daily availability of core business applications and availability of all network components.
- Maintain patched and updated network and security appliance kit in line with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
- Design and implement new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
- Install, configure and support network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches etc
- Configure firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
- Maximise network performance through ongoing monitoring and tuning
- Update network equipment to the latest releases and ensuring that all network and user documentation is kept up-to-date
- Install, configure software, hardware and certificates as required and requested
- Ensure that all processing schedules and system backups are completed in a correct and timely manner.
Skills
- 5+ Years in a similar role
- Excellent Networking skills 7 background – Support & project
- Knowledge of Industry standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Curious & motivated
