Senior Product Manager

• Leading Sydney University
• Hybrid working arrangement
• Contract until Dec 2024 (view to extend)
• Up to $1100 per day + super

• Strategic Planning Provide high-level advice and guidance to their Associate Director and relevant Heads of Area, to conceptualise, develop, and implement the strategy and vision of the technology services for the product line.
• Identify and address opportunities for differentiating technology capabilities and solutions to ensure a continuous improvement plan for multiple services and prioritise accordingly.
• Develops, implements, and communicates key performance metrics in relation to strategic priorities.
• Sets strategy for current and future services and identifies areas for improvement.
• Creates and maintains a collaborative environment with vendors and stakeholders to foster innovation in service outcomes.
• Leads on the conceptualisation, development and implementation of the Technology Portfolio’s strategic objectives and vision.
• Plan, lead and manage the successful completion of ICT capital projects.
• Develop, mange the implementation, and then maintain the project plan, schedule, tasks, and resource requirements against timelines to successfully deliver the assigned project.

• Have solid product management experience (have experience beyond project management, have led product lines, engagement, early ideation and developing the roadmap, while also being willing to delivery some projects themselves)
• Have demonstrated leadership experience (have led a team of at least two project managers / product owners for at least 24 months)
• Have experience to payroll, time sheeting or peripheral processes (This is less important, but a nice to have)
