- Contract starting 7th July for 6 weeks to cover leave in the team
- Not-for-profit based just north of Melbourne’s CBD
Our client a national not-for-profit is looking for a WHS Coordinator to join their WHS team. You will be reporting to the National WHS Manager, you’ll provide coordination support across compliance, training, and incident management, helping to drive a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
This is a 6-week contract to start on the 7th July for a 6-week period. The company are based just north of Melbourne’s CBD. They operate on a flexible hybrid model, typically 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. This role is ideally full-time, but for the right person could be considered part-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support WHS compliance activities, including audits and system updates
- Coordinate training across first aid, fire wardens, HSRs, and other key roles
- Manage WHS documentation and maintain accurate registers
- Assist with incident reviews, reporting, and post-incident support
- Update WHS content across internal channels
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external providers
- Demonstrated experience in a WHS Coordinator or WHS Administration role
- Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills
- The ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative and positive approach to safety culture
- Certificate IV or higher in Work Health & Safety
- Experience in not-for-profit, healthcare, or community services sectors is highly desirable
- Understanding of WHS legislation across multiple jurisdictions
- Flexible hybrid model: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
