Charterhouse - Melbourne have partnered with a Large Local Government Agency in search of an experienced Accountant to take on a short term contract within their Finance Team.
The successful applicant will have a proven background in the following skill sets in order to seamlessly transition into the role.
- General Ledger & Month-End Processing
- Bank, Credit Card & Petty Cash Reconciliations.
- General Accounting Duties.
- Minimum 2 years Local Government experience within the Accounting function.
- MagIQ & Authority Softwares.
- CA/CPA qualification or working toward preferable
Further, the successful candidate will be a proactive, focused & friendly team player who is capable of working both independently and as part of a greater team.
